Acid Pro vs. Music Studio

I'm interested in exploring the world of mashups. Are there features of Acid Pro that you feel are sufficiently useful to make it worth the 5x difference in price compared to Music Studio?

    you can get a somewhat limited free version of acid at acidplanet.com too try it out. music studio is designed along the lines of acid pro but is not as powerful a tool.
